Overview
Create your Local organization’s profile after successful registration of the organization
Why is this functionality required?
Users have the option to modify their profiles. Profile details are divided into basic and advanced categories. Basic fields are mandatory.

Accessing the Edit Profile option
- To begin, locate the "Edit" button situated in the upper right corner of your screen.
- Click on the "Edit" button to proceed to the profile editing page.
Navigating to the Identification Tab
Upon clicking the "Edit" button, you will be automatically redirected to the "Identification" tab.
Within this section, you can view and modify the personal details associated with your account.
Please take note of the symbol ⚠️, which indicates incomplete sections within your profile. To ensure a comprehensive profile, we recommend providing all required information as highlighted in the different tabs.
Note: A section that shows the following symbol next to a section ⚠ indicates that the partner has not completed that section of the profile. A partner will not be able to submit a concept note until his profile is completed, thus take the time to fill in all required information that will be highlighted in the different tabs.
Note: Basic information is mandatory to collaborate with UN agency.
Identification
· Edit the ‘Basic Information' section in the identification tab is pre-populated with information from account registration period and is not editable.
Identification tab – Legal Status
Note: If you answer ‘No” to the Registration, the Portal will request that you provide an explanation instead of the additional information associated with the Registration.
Click on “+ADD NEW” if you want to add another governing document.
Contact Information tab – Mailing Address
· Under the Contact Information tab, fill in the requested information to the mailing address. Select the ‘Type of mailing address’ and provide the information for the mailing address.
Note: Please ensure that the contact information that is entered is up to date so that UN agencies can use this information to contact your organization. When you select ‘PO Box’ the ‘Street Address’ option will change to P.O. Box Please note the areas that indicate (optional) are not conditional to having a complete profile.
Contact Information tab – Key Personnel
- Answer the question ‘Does your organization have a board of director(s)?’ with a ‘Yes’ or ‘No’
- Answer the question ‘Does your organization have any other authorized officers who are not listed above?’
- In case other board members or authorized officers can be added, with ‘+ADD NEW’ button.
Note: If ‘yes’, complete the information a new data box opens with information about the Board of Directors. Fill in all required fields: ‘Full name’, ‘Job Title/Position’, Telephone’, ‘Fax’, ‘Email.’
Contact Information tab – Working Languages
- Add working languages of the organization by clicking on the downward facing.
- Click on Save & Continue
- You will automatically be redirected to the “Mandate and Mission tab.”
Mandate & Mission tab – Background and Governance
· Under the “Mandate & Mission tab”, please provide background information, including the rationale for the establishment of the organization and its mandate & mission.
· Describe the organization's governance structure. Describe the headquarters' oversight of country/ branch office operations including any reporting requirements of the country/branch offices to HQ. Upload the most up-to-date organigram of the organization. (This step is optional).
Mandate & Mission tab – Ethics
- Briefly describe the organization’s mechanisms to safeguard against the violation and abuse of beneficiaries, including sexual exploitation and abuse.’
- If these mechanisms are formally documented in an organizational policy or code of conduct, answer yes to the question. - upload the relevant document.
- Briefly describe the organization’s mechanisms to safeguard against fraud, corruption, and other unethical behavior.?

Note: If yes, please upload policy, if no, please provide an explanation
Mandate & Mission tab – Experience
- Select sector then select the number of years of experience range for the selected sector.
- For each sector Select area(s) of specialization in the selected sector. You can choose multiple areas of specialization under one sector.
- Use the “+ ADD NEW” to add a sector.
Mandate & Mission tab - Population of Concern
- Please indicate if your organization works with populations of concern (PoC) as defined by UNHCR.
- If yes, please select the group of PoCs your organization works with from the list.
Note: By putting your mouse over the information button next to the section head Population of Concern, the definition of the term will be provided to you.
Mandate & Mission tab - Country Presence
- Please enter the location name of your field offices in the country and drop a pin to mark each location.
- Please add the total number of staff globally
- describe your working relationships in the communities in which you operate.
Mandate & Mission tab – Security
- Add here any information you wish to share about your organization's ability to operate in high-risk security locations and to scale up in the event of an emergency.
- Please click on ‘SAVE & CONTINUE’ you will automatically be redirected to the next tab “Funding”.
Funding tab – Budget
- Please select the appropriate budget range for your organization’s annual budget (in USD equivalent) for current year as well as for previous years.
Funding tab - Major Donors
- Please select the type of donors that fund your agency.
- Does your organization receive core funding? Select “Yes” if yes or select “No” if no.
- Please list your main donors
- At the end of Funding tab please click on either ‘SAVE & EXIT’ or ‘SAVE & CONTINUE’
Collaboration tab - History of Partnership
- Please answer the question ‘Has your organization collaborated with any UN agency?’
- If yes, please indicate which agency selecting the UN agency from the list.
- Briefly explain the collaboration with the agency selected (optional)
- Please provide the organization’s Vendor/Partner Number (If applicable).
- Click on “+ADD NEW” if you have collaborated with more than one UN agency. Fill the same steps described above for this collaboration.
- Please answer question ‘Has the organization collaborated with or participated as a member of a cluster, professional network, consortium, or any similar institution?
- If yes, please state which cluster, network or consortium and briefly explain the collaboration.
- At the end of Collaboration tab please click on either ‘SAVE & EXIT’ or ‘SAVE & CONTINUE’.
Project Implementation tab - Programme Management
Please answer the question: ‘Does the organization use a results-based approach to managing programmes and projects?
· If yes, please provide a brief description of your management approach.
Please answer the question: ‘Does your organization have a system for monitoring and evaluating its programmes and projects?
· If yes, briefly explain your M&E system.
Please answer the question: ‘Does the organization have systems or procedures in place for beneficiaries to provide feedback on project activities?’
· If yes, briefly explain your feedback mechanism.
Project Implementation tab – Financial Controls
· Please select your organization’s accounting system from the list:
o Computerized Accounting system, Paper-based accounting system, no accounting system.
· Please indicate the method of accounting adopted by the organization. Accrual or cash.
· Please answer the question: ‘Does your organization have a system to track expenditures, prepare project reports, and prepare claims for donors?
o If yes, please briefly explain the system used.
Project Implementation tab – Internal Controls
· Answering all the questions in this section, please indicate if the organization have formal documented policies applicable to all operations that cover each area.
Project Implementation tab - Banking Information
· Please indicate the organization has a bank account.
Project Implementation tab - Audit & Assessments
Please indicate if the organization is regularly audited.
· If yes, please select the type(s) of audits the organization undergoes and upload your most recent audit report or copy a link if the report is publicly available online.
Please answer the question: ’Where there any major accountability issues highlighted by audits in the past three years?’
Please answer the question: ‘Has the organization undergone a formal capacity assessment.
· If yes, please indicate which assessment and upload your most recent assessment report.
Click “+ADD NEW” to add more Assessment reports.
Project Implementation tab – Reporting
· Briefly explain the key results achieved by your organization over the last year.
· Please indicate if the organization publishes annual reports.
· If yes, please upload the most recent annual report/or copy a link if the report is publicly available online.
· Please add the date of the most recent audit report.
· At the end of Project Implementation tab please click on either ‘SAVE & EXIT’ or ‘SAVE & CONTINUE’.
Other information
· Please indicate if there is any other information the organization may wish to share (this is optional)
· Please Upload up to 9 additional files that may be useful. (Note that the maximum size of each file is 25 megabytes. Consider compressing your files into a .zip folder if necessary).
· Please upload the logo of your organization
· The Partner declaration has been pre-populated from registration information.
· Please tick the box that ‘The organization confirms that the information provided in the profile is accurate to the best of its knowledge, and understands that any misrepresentations, falsifications or material omissions in the profile, whenever discovered, may result in disqualification from or termination of partnership with the UN.’
· Please click the ‘SAVE & EXIT’ button to finalize the profile.
Troubleshooting Steps
FAQ
- Can INGO (International Non-Governmental Organization) country offices register directly on the UNPP?
- No, INGO country offices cannot register directly. INGO HQ offices must first register and create subsidiary country office accounts.
- What documents are required for registration on the UNPP?
- Organizations are required to upload at least one of the requested legal documents (Registration Document).
- What agreements do organizations need to accept during the registration process?
- Organizations must agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy
- Need to answer Partner Declaration before completing the registration.
- How is email verification done during the registration process?
- Organizations will receive a verification code via email to verify their email address during the registration process.
- How does registration work for National NGOs?
- National NGOs can create a CSO partner profile to proceed with registration.
- How does registration work for INGOs (International Non-Governmental Organizations)?
- For INGO country offices, registration should be done through INGO HQ offices, which will then create subsidiary country office accounts.
